The service is divided into five separate areas that are gender specific. The service focusses on providing care and treatment that centres on the individual utilising direct input from the hospital’s Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) which may also have a specific focus on Psychology.
The service is able to provide care and treatment for people who are detained under the Mental Health Act or are admitted as patients on an informal basis, these patients will have the benefit of a full package of care provided by the multi-disciplinary team.
The service also provides nursing services for people who have difficulties in residing at home or in other nursing services within the community.
Windsor Care has a high staff ratio which focusses on individual and group activities designed to assist in the maintenance and functioning for those people who require rehabilitation for the transition to community services.
